Phnom penh: Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Chairman of the Central Youth of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), has extended his congratulations to H.E. Thongly SISOULITH on his election as Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union (LPRYU).
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, who also serves as the Vice President of CPP, conveyed his congratulations through a message dated Friday. He expressed his sincere wishes on behalf of the Central Youth of the CPP, acknowledging the outcome of the 9th National Youth Congress held on August 26, 2025, which resulted in H.E. Thongly SISOULITH being elected as a Secretary of the Central Committee of the PRYU.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet highlighted the significance of this achievement, emphasizing that H.E. Thongly SISOULITH's dedication will drive LPRYU towards accomplishing its mission of building a cohesive and collaborative youth team across all sectors and levels nationwide. He further noted that H.E. Thongly SISOULITH's leadership will play a vital role in the success of the Youth Development Plan 2026-2030, which aims to enhance youth engagement in national initiatives and contribute to Laos's social and economic advancement.
In the context of Cambodia-Lao PDR relations, Samdech Thipadei expressed confidence that the strong friendship between the Central Youth of the CPP and the LPRYU will continue to thrive. This is supported by the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed between the two organizations at the beginning of 2025, which outlines a framework for sustained collaboration.
