Pursat: A poignant moment of perseverance marked the second day of Cambodia's national Baccalaureate (Bac II) examination, as a candidate with a disability completed his test using his feet. His bright and joyful demeanor upon leaving the exam hall has drawn widespread admiration.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, candidate Kim Ravith, a student with limited use of both arms, was among the tens of thousands of candidates who sat for the exam this morning. He was seen at the Pursat Primary School Examination Centre in Pursat province, where he meticulously completed his written papers using his feet. His cheerful expression as he exited the hall captivated fellow students and observers alike.
The second morning session of the nationwide exam included two subjects. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports reported that students in the Science stream took Khmer Literature and Physics, while those in the Social Science stream were tested on Mathematics and Civic-Moral Education.
The official results for the 2025 Bac II examination are scheduled to be released on Sept. 20, 2025. Results will be posted at all municipal and provincial examination centres and also published on the ministry's official Facebook page.
